Where we are

Misiones province is located in the northeast of Argentina, bordering with Brazil to the north and east and with Paraguay to the west.

The city of Posadas (27 ° 23 '35.55 S - 55 ° 54' 46.70 W) that will host the meeting is located at the southern tip of the province near the border with the province of Corrientes.

We chose this location for several reasons:  it is equidistant and easily accessible to members of the organizing countries ( Argentina and Brazil), it is centrally located within South America with excellent options for local transport to the location, it maintains well known and legally huntable (falconry) game populations, it has world renown natural tourist attractions like Iguazu Falls and Ibera Marshes among others, there are multiple global options for transport to reach the city of Posadas from distant Latin American countries and the U.S. and Europe.

Posadas is the capital of the province of Misiones with approximately 300,000 inhabitants in the Paraná river banks that forms a natural border between Paraguay and Argentina. (http://www.posadas.gov.ar)

The weather in Posadas  in august (mid winter) is normally dry, with temperatures ranging between 8 and 25 degrees celsius.
