Reproductive Biology of Falco Deiroleucus in the Atlantic Forest

Summary of Lecture: data from 4 years of study of three breeding sites and two nests of the species Falco deiroleucus; the populations of the Atlantic Forest in Espirito Santo state southeastern Brazil, including relevant unpublished data from reproductive biology, diet, behavior, habitat and ecology of the species. Photographs and videos of reproductive behavior in natural environment will be presented.d.

Summary of Lecture: Created in 2005, EL Niego was the first and only in the world to successfully reproduce in captivity the Spot-Winged Falconet (Spiziapteryx circumcinctus), and the first in Argentina to breed in captivity the Aplomado Falcon (Falco femoralis), also breeding successfully Harris Hawk (Parabuteo unicinctus), Common Kestrel (Falco sparverius) and Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus).
