Travelling Tips

Those who come to Buenos Aires and from there to Posadas, should consider the following:

To take the flight from Buenos Aires to Posadas , a change of airports is needed , estimated from the arrival , customs and migration time is about 40 minutes, transfer to the other airport is 1 hour , depending on traffic . So we have more or less two hours, to this we have to add one and a half hour in advance to checkin to Posadas.

There are two daily flights to Posadas one at 8:00 a.m. and another at 6:40 p.m. ,  those arriving in Buenos Aires until 3:00 p.m. would have time to take the o 6:40 p.m. flight the same day, otherwise they would have to sleep in Buenos Aires and take the 8:00 a.m. flight next morning.

Note that Saturdays has only morning flights and Sundays only in the afternoon .

A good alternative to having to spend a night in Buenos Aires , is coming by bus . There are several companies that offer VIP services that leave Buenos Aires between 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. arriving at Posadas in the early morning. They are very comfortable buses , the seat is transformed into a bed at 180 degrees , similar to first class flights , dinner and breakfast are served on the trip, and costs a third of the airplane ticket .
